🇨🇦 The take-home isn't that Canada once had a Nazi problem.
It's that Canada never produced a complete public accounting of it.
The state controlled the immigration records.
The state controlled the Deschênes inquiry.
The state controlled the denominator.
The state published the anonymized half.
The state locked away the identifying half.
And in 2026, it is still withholding it.
So nobody gets to honestly tell Canadians how many Nazis and Nazi collaborators passed through Canada, what networks they built, or what institutional descendants survived them.
The files are still closed. The accounting is still unfinished.
That's not ancient history.
