Airbags were built to protect us. Cops ram cars to trigger them.
911 is supposed to bring help. You call for medical attention, armed police arrive, and the ambulance comes later.
COVID taught the same lesson: even basic protections can disappear when institutions decide they are inconvenient.
Then we act surprised when people distrust, avoid or disable the very systems supposedly designed for their safety.
That's the pattern: take infrastructure built to protect people and subordinate it to policing and control.
You cannot keep weaponizing safety against people and still call the result "public safety."
Control first. Care later. People last. 🚨🚑🏴
