What if the problem isn't that you're behind everyone else, but that you've been taught to compare instead of situate?
Why ask "Where do I rank?" when the better question is:
"Where am I, what shaped this position, what resources do I have, and where can I go from here?"
Comparison creates a hierarchy. Situation creates a map. 🗺️
