Canada kept a 70-year-old pistol in military service.
Then replacing the pistol required a procurement competition.
The competition got cancelled.
They ran another competition.
Eventually they bought an off-the-shelf SIG P320.
This is a pistol.
Imagine the same bureaucracy trying to procure submarines, fighters, air defence and an entire war's ammunition. 🇨🇦🪖
