Canada keeps advertising military recruitment as military readiness.
They're not the same thing.
7,219 went through basic training in 2025-26. Only 77% graduated. Then graduates can spend months waiting for occupational training because the system lacks instructors, equipment, facilities and course capacity.
Recruiting people is an INPUT.
Trained, operational personnel are the OUTPUT.
Ottawa keeps bragging about the intake while the pipeline is clogged. 🇨🇦🪖
