The mechanism is simple:
↓ suppress wages
↑ raise rents and prices
↑ load workers with debt
↓ cut public services
→ privatize what remains
→ transfer public wealth upward
→ police the people squeezed by the process
Workers produce the wealth. Capital captures it. The state protects the transfer.
