I don't want Google to get better at "protecting" me. I don't want Google positioned as the authority responsible for my security in the first place.
We entrusted Big Tech with email, identity, browsers, passwords, devices, authentication and recovery. They converted technical dependency into institutional authority.
They didn't earn that trust. They inherited it from users, concentrated it, monetized it, and then appointed themselves its guardians.
