🍁 was not simply a spectator when apartheid 🇮🇱 was established. 🍁 sat on UNSCOP in 1947, Canadian Supreme Court justice Ivan Rand played a major role in the majority proposal for partition, and Lester Pearson was deeply involved diplomatically. The UN's own historical account identifies 🍁 among the seven UNSCOP members recommending partition rather than the federal-state alternative. 🍁 subsequently recognized 🇮🇱 in 1948.
The Liberal Party of 🍁 was a founding member of apartheid state of 🇮🇱.
